Sanath Jayasurya
Very few players in Cricket go for shots in the very first over of the innings. Jayasurya belongs to that group of players. He is a kind of player who always wants to dominate the bowlers rather than they dominate him. He is one of the players with very good striking rate. He became very popular among the cricket fans after the World cup 1996 where he changed the ODI strategy by hitting quick runs during the first 15 overs. Jayasurya is also Sri Lanka’s highest Test run-scorer. He is definite match winner who can attack the opponents with the bat as well as ball. Sanath Jayasurya is the Wisden Cricketer of the year 1997.
