GEOENGINEERING
Geo engineering is the new buzzword by scientists to tackle the crisis of global warming, which is happening at a rapid pace than expected. The concept of using technology to purposely cool the climate is called Geoengineering. One option was to shoot pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the Sun’s rays. There is a need to technologically tinker with the climate as a resort to cool the climate as the effects of global warming can have intolerable consequences. The potential of geoengineering has to be considered very prudently, understand its limitations and should not be deployed rashly.
