CLASSES ON YOUTUBE

The video sharing site has become a major reservoir of education content. Lately, this site has been forging partnerships with colleges and universities to make available higher learning online. More than a hundred schools including Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Yale and the UC Berkeley University have joined hands with YouTube under the banner YouTubeEDU (www.youtube.com/edu). Many schools have posted videos of lectures from classrooms, guest lectures and even a full semesters course. What better way to educate oneself for higher learning when the times are tough and higher education is unaffordable and unemployment is on the rise. Those jobless can update their knowledge levels and some can study subjects, which they never had a chance to.
